Home / Blog / Auto Dealership Cleaning: Showroom to Back Office
A dealership showroom collects fingerprints, dust, and tracked-in dirt faster than most retail spaces, since customers touch every surface on the floor.

The showroom floor
A dealership showroom is mostly glass and hard flooring, and both show marks fast. Customers lean on hoods, kids touch windows, and salespeople walk the floor dozens of times a day. Dust settles on parked vehicles even indoors, and a cleaning crew wipes down glass partitions, sweeps and mops the floor, and empties trash bins before the doors open.
Most dealerships want this done before business hours, so the floor is ready when the first customer walks in. A crew that comes early avoids working around test drives, deliveries, and staff meetings, and the showroom looks the same at opening as it did the night before.
Sales offices and desks
Sales offices get used all day: paperwork, coffee cups, and constant foot traffic from customers signing documents. A cleaning crew empties trash, wipes down desks and shared surfaces, vacuums carpeted areas, and dusts shelves and monitors. None of this touches paperwork or computers directly; staff clear those before the crew arrives.
Finance offices and closing rooms see the most one-on-one time with customers, so they get the same attention as the showroom floor. Glass doors, door handles, and chairs are wiped down, since these are the surfaces people touch most during a visit.
Restrooms and break rooms
Customer restrooms at a dealership see steady traffic from people waiting on service or a test drive. A crew cleans and disinfects toilets, sinks, and counters, wipes mirrors, mops the floor, and restocks paper towels and soap when supplies are provided. This runs on the same visit as the showroom, not separately.
Employee break rooms get less attention from dealership staff but just as much use. Counters, tables, and the outside of the refrigerator and microwave get wiped down, and trash is emptied. We do not clean inside refrigerators unless asked, since dealerships often want to manage what staff store there.
How dealerships schedule it
Most dealerships schedule regular cleaning at $125 a visit for the showroom, offices, and restrooms on a set day of the week. This keeps floors, glass, and high-touch surfaces from building up dirt between visits, so the space stays presentable without a big cleanup before every visit.
A deep cleaning at $139 goes further: baseboards, vents, light fixtures, and areas that a regular visit does not reach. Dealerships often schedule this a few times a year, or before an event, an inspection, or a manufacturer visit, when the whole building needs to look its best.
When a dealership opens a new location or finishes a remodel, a move-in cleaning at $185 clears out construction dust, tape residue, and debris left behind by contractors before staff and customers walk in. This is a one-time visit, not part of a regular schedule.
