How much does house cleaning cost in Los Angeles?

Pricing is upfront, not hourly, and starts at $125 per visit. A studio standard clean is $125; a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home is $149; a 2-bedroom, 2-bath is $175. Deep cleans and move-out cleans cost more because they take longer — see the table below. The exact total for your address and layout is shown on the booking page before you confirm, and nothing is added without asking you first.

How long does a cleaning take?

A studio standard clean takes about 45 minutes; a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home about 90 minutes. Deep cleaning roughly doubles that — about 150 minutes for the same 2-bedroom home — and a move-out clean of that home runs about 195 minutes. Times are for a two-person crew and are shown next to the price when you book.

What is included in a standard clean?

A 28-point checklist through the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors: counters and sinks, appliance exteriors, mirrors and glass, toilets, tubs and showers, dusting reachable surfaces, vacuuming and mopping, taking out the trash and making beds. Inside the oven, inside the fridge and inside cabinets are add-ons rather than part of the standard visit.

What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?

A standard clean maintains a home that is already in reasonable shape. A deep clean is a 57-point reset for buildup: detailed kitchen and bathrooms, baseboards, door frames, vents, light fixtures, window tracks and hard-water stains, done room by room. Most homes need a deep clean first if no one has cleaned professionally in the last few months.

Do you do move-out cleaning for a deposit walk-through?

Yes. The move-out clean follows a 39-point checklist built for empty homes: inside cabinets and closets, appliance exteriors, doors and door frames, baseboards, window tracks and every bathroom surface. It starts at $185. Inside the oven and inside the fridge are add-ons at $49 each. Book it after the movers are out and before the walk-through.

Do you clean inside the oven and the refrigerator?

Yes, both are add-ons: $49 each, about 30 minutes each. Inside cabinets and drawers is also $49. They are add-ons because they take real extra time, and we would rather show that time in the price than rush it.

Do you clean balconies and patios?

Yes — a balcony or patio is a $25 add-on. Floor swept and mopped, railing wiped down, outdoor furniture wiped over — about 15 minutes for a two-person crew. Clutter stays where it is unless you clear it first. Sliding doors and balcony glass are priced separately, as large windows. Those are $17 each, or $37 with the deep wash. Pick it in the booking form under “Inside your home”.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Yes. Crews arrive with everything needed. Eco-friendly products that are safe around children and pets are available at no extra charge — select them when booking. If you would rather we use your own products, say so in the booking notes.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No. Most clients leave access instructions when booking: a lockbox code, a door code or a key with the front desk. Every cleaner is background-checked, and the company is bonded and insured.

Can you turn over an Airbnb or short-term rental the same day?

Yes. Turnovers start at $99 per visit: linens stripped and remade, towels swapped, consumables restocked and every surface reset to match the listing photos. We send photos of the finished unit before leaving and report damage the same day.

How do I pay?

Payment is taken after the visit. Credit and debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Zelle are all accepted. No deposit is required to book.

Which areas do you serve?

Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley and Orange County — including North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Valley Village, Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Pasadena, Altadena, Alhambra, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Culver City and Malibu. Enter your zip code on the booking page to confirm your address is covered.

Are you insured?

VAST Cleaning is bonded and insured, and every cleaner is background-checked before their first job. Documents are available on request.

Can I book the same crew every week?

Yes. Recurring visits are available weekly, every two weeks or every four weeks, and we keep the same background-checked crew on your home so nothing needs explaining twice. Upfront pricing from $125 per visit, and you can change or cancel the schedule online.

Do you clean offices, body shops and other commercial spaces?

Yes. Office and workplace cleaning runs on a flat weekly rate, and automotive facilities — body shops, dealerships and service centers — start at $99 per week with a first deep reset of $249. Evening and weekend slots are available.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes. Tell a friend who has never booked with VAST. Your friend gets $25 in credit right away; your $25 arrives once their first cleaning is paid for. There is no limit on how many friends you refer.
