What Pasadena homes actually need

Bungalow Heaven, Madison Heights and the streets around them are full of early 1900s Craftsman homes: built-in cabinetry, unsealed or wax-finished wood, leaded and stained glass, deep porches. These surfaces are cleaned dry or barely damp, never with a general-purpose spray, and glass with lead came is washed by hand. If you are not sure what finish you have, tell us at booking and the crew will treat it as original.
Bigger lots, more bathrooms and often a guest house or pool house. The count of rooms matters more than the square footage here, which is why our estimate asks for rooms and bathrooms rather than a number off a listing.
Converted and newer buildings downtown mean lifts, loading docks and controlled entry. We confirm access and parking when you book, and the crew arrives with everything needed so nothing has to be carried through a lobby twice.

Getting in
Craftsman blocks and the historic districts have narrow streets and detached garages down a shared drive. Larger homes near Oak Knoll and Linda Vista have their own approach. Either way, tell us at booking if the block is restricted.
A lockbox, a keypad, a side gate left unlatched or a neighbour with a key all work. Put the instructions in the booking notes — the crew reads them on the phone before setting off, and calls when they arrive.
Weekly, every two weeks or monthly, with the same crew wherever the schedule allows — they learn the house, and the visit gets shorter without getting thinner. Recurring visits continue until you stop them, with no fee and no minimum number of visits.
