We use pH-neutral products on stone as a rule, and if we are unsure what a surface is, we treat it as stone.
South of Sunset much of the stock dates from the 1920s and 1930s: original tile, wrought iron, plaster walls, deep window reveals and hardwood that has been refinished more than once. Those floors are cleaned barely damp, never wet, because standing water at the seams is what lifts a finish.

We settle who lets us in and what is off-limits at booking, our crews are background-checked, and what is inside a home stays there. If a household prefers the same two people every visit, say so and we schedule it that way.

Getting in
Many households here have staff, a schedule and rules about who is in the house when. Tell us at booking who will meet the crew and which entrance to use, and the visit stays quiet and out of the way.
Lockbox, keypad, front desk, gate code or a neighbour — any of them works. Put what applies to you in the booking notes, and the crew has it on the phone before setting off.
Weekly, every two weeks or monthly, with the same crew wherever the schedule allows — they learn the house, and the visit gets shorter without getting thinner. Recurring visits continue until you stop them, with no fee and no minimum number of visits.
