Home / Services / Post Construction Cleaning
The service
From dusty to done. Drywall and concrete dust is abrasive, far finer than household dust, and it keeps settling for days after the trades leave. Wiping it dry moves it around and scratches new finishes; vacuuming with the wrong filter puts it back into the air. We work damp, top to bottom, with HEPA vacuums, and we clean window tracks, vents, door tops and light fixtures — the places dust hides and then reappears from a week later. Plan on two passes for anything larger than a single room: a rough clean once the debris is out, then a final detail after the last trade has been through. Book the final pass after punch-list work, not before — every touch-up puts dust back on the floor. Custom quotes for any size project across LA County.
Post construction cleaning in Los Angeles goes by a few names — construction cleanup, construction dust removal, builder’s clean. It is the same job: the fine dust that settles on every surface after a remodel, inside cabinets and closets two rooms away from the work. We do construction cleaning services for homes and offices across LA and the Valley.
The process
We walk the site, agree what is in scope, and protect the areas that are already finished so dust does not travel into them.
Leftover material and packaging out, adhesive, stickers and tape residue off, then a first pass over every surface from ceiling to floor.
Fixtures, glass, tracks, cabinets inside and out, floors detailed into the corners — then a walkthrough with you before we leave.
What's included
Priced per project — square footage, the state the site is left in, and whether you need one pass or two. Interior windows are included; exterior glass, high-reach work and floor sealing are quoted separately.
When to book it, and what it costs you to book it wrong
Most of what goes wrong with post-construction cleaning is not the cleaning — it is the order things happen in. Four situations cover almost every job we see in Los Angeles.
The trades leave, the dust does not. Fine drywall and tile dust keeps dropping out of the air for several days, so a single clean the morning after the last worker leaves will look perfect at noon and dusty by the weekend. We plan a rough pass once debris is out and a final pass after punch-list touch-ups, because every touch-up puts dust back on the floor.
Los Angeles has more of these than any other kind of build we clean. They are small, which makes people expect a small job, but they are also brand new from the slab up: window stickers, adhesive residue, grout haze, paint flecks on glass and hardware, and sanding dust in every track. The square footage is small; the detail work is not.
Anything built before the war may hide lath-and-plaster walls, and demolition in those releases a heavier, grittier dust that settles into floor gaps and hardwood seams. It has to be vacuumed with a filtered machine and then taken up damp — dry sweeping grinds it into new finishes.
In a building the constraints are not about dust at all: lift reservations, protected corridors, limited work hours, where a bin may stand and for how long. We ask about all of it at booking, because a crew waiting on a service lift is time you have paid for.
Whichever situation you are in, tell us the state the site is actually in — we would rather quote two passes honestly than quote one and leave dust behind.

Two: a rough clean once the debris is out, then a final detail after punch-list touch-ups. Every touch-up puts dust back on the floor, so a final pass booked before the punch list is a pass you will pay for twice.

“A relative of mine recently passed away and I ended up with all of their stuff at my house. I called Vast and Gulsina and Dolaana arrived and helped me sort through all of it. They were also very detailed with the cleaning and my floors and counters are now spotless! I would definitely request them again!”

We clean after remodels, ADUs and garage conversions across Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Valley. Two passes as standard: a rough clean once the debris is out, then a final detail after punch-list touch-ups. Filtered vacuums, interior windows included, exterior quoted separately.
Older homes with plaster dust that settles into wood floors and window tracks — the rough pass matters most here.
Kitchen and bath remodels in post-war houses: cabinet interiors and appliance seams hold fine dust the longest.
Condo renovations where the corridor and elevator path need wiping too, not only the unit.
Large remodels with delicate finishes — stone, glass and metal get the final detail after punch-list touch-ups.
Coastal air plus construction dust leaves film on glass; interior windows and tracks are part of the final pass.
Long driveways and staged access — we plan the route and bring everything in one trip.
Small footprints and shared hallways: dust control between the unit and the common areas.
ADUs and garage conversions, where the final detail happens after the inspector signs off.
Multi-generational homes with second kitchens — both cooking areas get the same checklist.
Not on the list? We cover the rest of the county too — tell us about the site and we answer with a upfront rate the same day. Prices and what is included: questions and answers.
