At VAST CLEANING, accessible from https://vastcleaning.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by VAST CLEANING and how we use it.
If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in VAST CLEANING. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
• Provide, operate, and maintain our website
• Improve, personalize, and expand our website
• Understand and analyze how you use our website
• Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
• Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website, and for marketing and promotional purposes

VAST CLEANING follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
We want to know which pages help people and which do not. We use two tools for that, and they work differently.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits, pages and referring sites. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not collect personal information. It runs for every visitor and requires no consent.
Google Analytics 4 shows how people move through the site — for example, how many visitors who opened a service page went on to start a booking. It uses cookies, so we load it only after you agree. If you choose “Essential only”, Google Analytics is never loaded at all — not loaded and disabled, simply not loaded. Your choice is remembered in your browser and you can change it at any time by clearing site data or contacting us.
Microsoft Clarity shows how a page is actually used — where people click, how far they scroll and where they stop. It records the session as a reconstruction of the page, not as a video of your screen, and it masks what you type: names, addresses, phone numbers and card details never leave your browser. Like Google Analytics it uses cookies, so it loads only after you agree, and never if you choose “Essential only” or send a Global Privacy Control signal. Microsoft may use the data to improve Clarity and its own products.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, or Do Not Track, we treat it as a refusal and do not ask again.
You can change your decision at any time:
Aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 14 months and is used only to improve the website and our services. Necessary cookies that keep the site working — remembering your booking form choices, for example — are always on and store nothing about you personally.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
If we ever run advertising that relies on analytics data, choosing “Essential only” in the banner, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, is treated as your opt-out request under California law. You may also ask us at the address below, and we will confirm within the time the law allows.
To provide a cleaning we collect what is needed to reach you and get into the property: your name, phone number, email address, service address and apartment number, and any access details you choose to give us — a door or lockbox code, where a key is left, alarm instructions, parking notes, and requests such as areas to skip or how to handle pets.
This information is used only to schedule and perform the service, to send you confirmations, reminders and invoices, and to answer your questions. Access details are shared only with the technicians assigned to your visit and with the scheduling systems we use to run the business. We do not sell this information and do not share it for marketing purposes.
We keep booking records for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete access details — codes, key instructions — at any time, and we will remove them from your customer record.
When you book a service on our website or over the phone, you may opt in to receive text messages from VAST Cleaning by checking the box “Send me reminders about my booking via text message” on the booking form, or by giving verbal consent to our staff during a call.
What we send. Booking confirmations, appointment reminders, updates from your technician, invoices and payment links, replies to questions you have asked us, and one message after the cleaning is completed and paid, asking you to rate the service. We also send a short follow-up message after a phone conversation if you asked us to.
How often. Message frequency varies and depends on your bookings — typically a few messages around each visit.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe; you will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or email [email protected].
The full details of this programme, including a screenshot of the opt-in on our booking form, are published at vastcleaning.com/sms-consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
