Ask three cleaning companies in Los Angeles what window cleaning costs and you will get three ranges and a request to call. We price it per window and publish the number, because a price you cannot see before booking is not a price.
What one window costs. The price is per window and covers both sides of the glass and the frames. Screens, tracks and sills belong to the deep option. We charge by how long the work takes, so the table below shows the time as well — it is the honest explanation for why a balcony block costs more than a bathroom pane.
| Window | Standard | Deep |
|---|---|---|
| Small — kitchen or bathroom, single pane | $9 · 5 min | $17 · 10 min |
| Standard — a typical room window, 2–3 sashes | $13 · 8 min | $25 · 15 min |
| Large — floor-to-ceiling, sliding door or balcony block | $17 · 10 min | $37 · 23 min |
Standard or deep — how to choose. Standard is glass and frames: the right choice for windows that get cleaned a few times a year. Deep adds the tracks, the sills, the screens and anything baked on. If you cannot remember the last time the tracks were touched, or the window faces a busy street, the first clean should be deep and the ones after it standard.
A roller shade is one flat surface. A vertical blind is dozens of slats, each cleaned on both faces. That is the whole reason the prices differ — not the brand, not the room.
| Blind | Standard | Deep |
|---|---|---|
| Roller shade | $9 · 5 min | $17 · 10 min |
| Vertical or mini aluminum | $13 · 8 min | $29 · 18 min |
| Cellular / honeycomb | $13 · 8 min | $25 · 15 min |
| Faux-wood or wood | $15 · 9 min | $33 · 20 min |
Kitchen blinds are the exception. Grease does not dust off. Vertical or aluminum blinds over a stove need the deep option, and we say so at booking rather than wiping them once and leaving a film.
Wood is wiped, never soaked. Faux-wood and real wood take a barely damp cloth. Cellular and honeycomb shades have fabric pockets that hold dust and tear if pulled — those go slowly, which is why they take longer than a roller of the same size.
A one-bedroom apartment with six ordinary windows. The recurring clean is $125. Six standard windows at $13 each add $78, so the visit is $203 in total. Nothing is added without asking you first.
A three-bedroom single-storey house with ten ordinary windows and two sliding doors. The recurring clean is $220. Ten standard windows and two large ones add $164, so the visit is $384. Choose the deep option on the same glass and the windows come to $324 instead — that is tracks, sills and screens included.
We do clean windows without a full house clean. The thing to know is the minimum: a visit is $125 whatever it contains, because a crew still has to load, drive and park. Below about ten standard windows you are paying the minimum either way, so it is usually worth adding the glass to a clean you were booking anyway.
What we do not do. We clean interior glass and the outside of ground-floor windows we can reach safely from the ground. We do not do high-rise exteriors, rope access or anything needing a lift — that is a different trade with different insurance, and pretending otherwise would put someone on a ladder who should not be there.
Every number on this page is the number our booking form shows before you confirm. Count your windows, pick standard or deep, and the total is fixed.
FAQs
Per window. A standard window with two or three sashes is one price, not two or three.
Yes, where we can reach it safely from the ground — that is included in the per-window price. We do not do high-rise exteriors or anything needing a lift.
Yes. Blinds are cleaned in place, slat by slat. Taking them down risks the mechanism and is rarely needed.
Per blind, cleaned in place: a roller shade is $9, vertical or mini aluminum $13, cellular or honeycomb $13, faux-wood or wood $15. Deep cleaning the same blinds — taken down, washed and rehung — runs $17 to $33 each. The visit minimum is $125.
Yes. Blind cleaning in Los Angeles can be booked on its own or added to a window cleaning visit; adding it to a visit you already have is cheaper because the minimum is already covered.
